Third District Fundraiser
On October 24th, 2009 a rally was held featuring Senator Evan Bayh, Dr. Tom Hayhurst and Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry. It was well attended at the Plumbers & Steamfitters Union Hall which was dry and warm compared to the weather.
3rd District Chair Carmen Darland thanked the attendees for showing up at the event and introduced Senator Bayh.
Senator Evan Bayh provided a few remarks about health care reform, jobs, energy and 2010 candidates. He spent time before and after the event chatting with attendees.
Mayor Tom Henry provided his endorsement and introduced Dr. Tom Hayhurst
Dr. Tom Hayhurst expressed the reasons for his candidacy and thanking those in attendance.
